U-turn & the Best Time to Recite the Quran

I read a lot lately; ranging from simplicity, focus, contentment, minimalist, declutter, marketing, and the list goes on.

Then I realized, I read less on translation of the Quran…

It’s about time to make a u-turn.

Those articles that I read are merely words from creation (human).

While the Quranic words and verses; are from Creator (Allah).

Words from Creator vs Creation, which one is more powerful?

Another thing that I realized is, the best time to recite the Quran is in the morning. The reasons, [1] our minds are still fresh in the early morning. [2] If we delay it, sometimes it will be hard to find free time to read the Quran and its translations.

To strengthen my points, here’s the verse worth pondering from surah al-Isra:

[17:78] Perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) from mid-day till the darkness of the night (i.e. the Zuhr, ‘Asr, Maghrib, and ‘Isha’ prayers), and recite the Quran in the early dawn (i.e. the morning prayer). Verily, the recitation of the Quran in the early dawn is ever witnessed (attended by the angels in charge of mankind of the day and the night).

I’m pretty sure there are a lot more benefits of reading the Quran in the morning that we might have overlooked. However that does not mean we can’t read it later in the day.

So with that, until next time.
